The way the needles sparkle in the sunshine and dance with the wind, swaying softly, it makes me wonder if these are the Entwives preening and awaiting the arrival of the Ents. Will the ents wake the Entwives, give them back their speech and ability to walk? Or do the Entwives happily disavow speech and walking to live as they like? Here, with or without Ents, these trees rain down their magic making me believe anything is possible.
