"you like depressing movies"

Perhaps. I find that my netflix queue is full of drama and thriller with the occasional comedy or romantic comedy I was unwilling to pay $10 to see. I do, from time to time, have to go in and stagger the dark movies with the thrillers or look for a light-hearted movie to insert so that I won't be tempted to slit my wrists at home alone. But, does that really mean that I like depressing movies??

I can't remember now who accused me, for I do remember it being said in an accusatory tone, of liking depressing movies. I imagine it was my mother.
